Verse of the day: 2 Corinthians 4:7-10

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.

Unless God builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Psalm 127:1

We know that God would have all people whole and fully alive. We are whole when we acknowledge our dependence upon God and commit ourselves to the guidance of God's Holy Spirit in unquestioning faith. We become full alive as we proclaim the lordship of Jesus Christ to others and serve in His name.

We confess that we fall short of that ideal and need to close the gap between what God would have us be and what we are, between what is and what should be.

Our mission as a church is to reach out to the community and share God's love as we build people up both spiritually and socially to be the best that God intended. Our goal is to spread the good news of salvation as Christ commanded us.
